Twin Chimneys indentures require that every property in our community adhere to a specific set of architectural restrictions and guidelines. The purpose of these requirements is to ensure a harmonious design is consistently applied and preserved throughout the community and to protect the value of all property in our community. Changes and improvements typically subject to architectural restrictions include any construction or improvement projects involving the exterior of your propoerty. This includes the exterior of your home and other existing structures, construction of new buildings, fences, and major landscaping projects. Please carefully review our indentures and submit a request to the Architectural Control Committee for approval by the Board of Trustees before beginning any project on your home or property.
Architectural Control Request Procedure The Twin Chimneys Board of Trustees has established an Architectural Control Committee to review change and improvement requests brought by property owners and make recommendations to the Board concerning approval of these requests. Submitting a request for approval for a change or improvement is straight-forward, and involves completing a form describing the requested change. This form, along with other documents (such as a plot-plan, drawings, etc.) describing the change in detail, is reviewed by the Architectural Control Committee and submitted to the Board of Trustees for action. The Board of Trustees is required to review and act on your request in a timely manner as described in the procedure. For details of the request procedure, and the forms you'll need, contact DNI Properties, or download the forms here.
